What is it like for women to live, love, and lead in their full potential? your thoughts.

Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do.
Where there is love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong.

Have you ever felt like you were in a season in your life where everything in your life had potential?
I feel like I wake up every morning to this awareness that anything could happen.
That nothing is impossible.
I BELIEVE that is a fire that has been so deeply been burned on my heart for life.
That my dreams could be tasted today.
I am so thankful for the many people who I truely feel believe in me.
Right now, today, where I am at. The list goes on and on.

So today I went to this tea party,
Held by two amazing friends of mine where they shared their journeys of what it is like to be empowered as a woman. They shared their process. It was amazing. I am still processing.
During this time I was reminded how in my life I have felt limited by my gender in leadership ect. sometimes I have things burning in my heart to say something and I look around the room and notice I am the only woman present and or sharing. As of the past 6 months or so I have only noticed this, and for the most part not allowed this to hold me back because it shouldn't hold women back.
We are just as powerful as men. Different but never the less just as powerful.

I don't really have a message to share but just wanted to open this up as a discussion.
What do you think it looks like for a woman to lead, live, and love in her full potential? I know many of us our on a journey into this subject but what are your thoughts?
<3 Thanks

  1. This is a great topic, Naomi. First I think in order to even begin the journey of living in our full potential, we must have security in and revelation of our position in Christ:
"There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus." -Galatians 3:28

We have to identify any wrong mindsets that we have had in our past and take them to Jesus, who has given us life so that we can live it ABUNDANTLY! Our confidence must come from our identity in Him, the freedom He has given us and the anointings and gifts He has placed upon us. It helps when these are affirmed by man (people), but at the very core, we must know what HE says we are.

It is so important to have people in our lives who honor Christ in us and the freedom He provided us. Those are key people we need as mentors, friends and co-laborers. People who don't control, but who empower you to live out your potential.

As a married woman, I strongly urge any unmarried woman who is on this journey of "leading, living, and loving to their full potential" to ask God for a man who will release you in this. It is an amazing partnership when you have a husband who believes in you, is your teammate, who releases you and is neither threatened by or conrolling of you. The best prayer is that God will also prepare Him to walk in the freedom Christ has purchased. Those who are free tend to influence others to greater levels of freedom!

Thank you, Jesus, that you love women, and that we can be a part of bringing your Kingdom to earth!

  2. This is a really good topic Naomi! And I love Sarah's answer it speaks everything I was thinkin about and more! God has been shifting my mindsets and showing me more about my role as a woman of God and how He has called us to as women to minister beside men. I dont know exactly how to explain what He has been slowly working within my heart. I've been mediating on it for a couple days know and still cant think of a way to explain. I guess like Sarah said God has been solidifying my identification in Him and freeing me of binding mindsets, so that I can fully be who He has created me to be and I feel like I am really learning how to be a better sister to my brothers in Christ!
The last paragraph of Sarah's comment really spoke to me the most! Thank you Sarah for sharing!
